What we protect, protects us. As part of the world's ecosystems, wild forest provides balance and stability to nature's processes. Maintaining the balance of nature should be the responsibility of each of us. Let's do this!

Wilderness is the origin of all life. Preserving and protecting it with all our strength is a necessity for our survival and an act of humility before the greatness of nature and the cycle of life. In that regard, we can learn a lot from indigenous peoples. Let's rediscover the wilderness within ourselves too!
Ansgar Fellendorf
Climate change and mountain ecosystems expert
The triple planetary crisis of nature loss, pollution and climate change is affecting people and ecosystems around the world. We need to discover the places and cultures that we want to protect and promote, build strong relationships, develop a passion, have fun and work together!

Europe must become wilder again! If we work together, well networked, we can achieve a lot and simultaneously send a strong signal to other parts of the world. We must lead by example. Sustainable, natural agriculture, forestry, as well as ecotourism are other essential elements of a greener Europe. I also like greening our legal systems and recognizing nature's right to life and development. We humans can only benefit from it.
